OK.. Now it is time to decide if you want a boy or girl! I have a lot of people call me and say that they have to have a girls because a boy will "mark" thier territory. All that I can tell them is that I have a total of 4 inside dogs in my home. 2 boys and 2 girls. And, the myth about males is not true. For an example, KOKO is 4 years old and I have had him since he was 8 weeks old. Neutered by 5 months and he never lifts his leg. Even when he is outside taking care of business he still "wee-wees" like a girl.
Here are my opinions of boys vs girls:
Boys:
More affecionate, attentive, and, less moody! Please get your dog neutered! This will help stop with "humping" and "lifting" their legs. When you get your male puppy neutered, thier testosterone levels decrease. Remember, Male puppies are cheaper! My Vet charges less for a male and then a female to spay/neuter. A lot of people that I talk to want to be able to "dress thier puppy up." That is why I want a girl puppy. And, I always tell people, "Why can't you dress up a male?" Precious, Koko, Duuge, & Bailey all have the same amout of clothes.
Girls:
Tend to be more stubborn and territorial. They are useally more independent and moody. Remember, thier heat cycles are every 6 months. That is TWICE a year. That means, if you don't get them spayed and then the blood will get into your carpets and your couch.

I hope this is something that you take into consideration when buying a puppy from me!
